The SURFACE back support is a variation of the SPEX back support.

Developed for providing wheelchair users with a broader surface back support, when users require increased support at the pelvis and shoulders for ultimate care and positioning.

The unique profile of the SURFACE allows wider support, yet doesn’t restrict trunk lateral positioning or mounting to the wheelchair (see mounting details below).

The SURFACE is installed in front of the wheelchair canes/handlebars, and may mean that the seat length may need to be adjusted for the user. Please ensure the wheelchair has sufficient seat length before prescribing.
