Henry Bertulfo is an International Product Trainer supporting the Spex USA team. In this role, he partners with clinicians, dealers, and providers to deliver expert guidance in complex rehabilitation technology, helping translate advanced seating and mobility solutions into practical, individualized outcomes for end users.

A licensed occupational therapist with nearly three decades of clinical experience, Henry brings 29 years of practice across diverse settings, including academic teaching, acute physical and mental health rehabilitation, community-based rehabilitation, complex wheelchair and seating assessment services, and work as a CRT provider. His clinical collaborations with CRT providers early in his career fostered a deep respect for their expertise and the transformative impact of well-designed assistive technology, ultimately inspiring him to pursue a dedicated path within the complex rehab industry.

With 28 years of experience in seating, mobility, and rehabilitation, Henry’s primary focus is adult complex rehabilitation, particularly advanced seating and wheelchair assessment and prescription. He also brings experience in CRT business development, contributing to product strategy and staffing initiatives that strengthen service delivery and support sustainable growth. His combined clinical and commercial perspective allows him to support both optimal clinical outcomes and strong business partnerships.

Henry previously worked at Spex’s sister company, Medifab, as a Product Specialist, supporting a broad portfolio of complex rehabilitation brands and building deep technical and clinical expertise in the Spex Seating product range. Through that experience, he developed a strong appreciation for Spex Seating’s supportive culture and commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to end users. Henry is passionate about taking a customer-centric, collaborative approach – providing expert, consistent support throughout the entire customer journey, from pre-sale consultation through post-sale follow-up. In his new role, he looks forward to applying his complex rehabilitation technology expertise to support the continued global growth of the Spex Seating product range.

Known for his hands-on, relationship-focused working style, Henry prioritizes tailored support that meets each customer’s specific needs. He values direct communication and meaningful collaboration, ensuring customers feel supported at every stage. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, especially trail walking and hiking.
