Spex USA
Jarrod Rowles, ATP/SMS is a Seating and Positioning Specialist and Territory Manager for the state of Florida at Spex USA, based in Orlando. In this role, he partners with clinicians, ATPs, and providers across the region to support complex seating and mobility needs, helping teams identify practical solutions that improve comfort, function, and long-term outcomes.

Jarrod entered the complex rehab industry in 2006, beginning his career at a small dealer in Maine. What started as delivering hospital beds and lift chairs quickly evolved into a passion for complex rehabilitation, leading him to earn his ATP in 2009 and SMS in 2012. Over the past 20 years, he has built extensive experience in seating and mobility and has worked across multiple organizations, including the largest national CRT provider. Since settling in Orlando in 2013, he has developed strong relationships throughout the industry and expanded his impact through involvement in policy and professional standards, including being elected to RESNA’s Professional Standards Board in 2024. He joined Spex in December 2025.
Jarrod’s key clinical focus areas include pediatrics and neurological diagnoses, with particular expertise in complex seating challenges, custom molding, and creative problem solving. He is passionate about helping clinicians and providers connect the dots, showing that highly configurable solutions can still be practical, approachable, and effective in the real world.
Known for his thoughtful and consultative working style, Jarrod emphasizes listening first and gathering as much information as possible before recommending solutions. He is a strong believer in “try before you buy” and is driven by helping teams reach the best possible outcome for each client. In his new role, he looks forward to becoming a trusted resource for problem solving and supporting those “lightbulb moments” that lead to truly life-changing equipment decisions.
Outside of work, Jarrod is highly technical and enjoys taking things apart and repairing almost anything – wheelchairs, cars, electronics, and home projects alike.
